Throughout the year, we’ve continued to invest in British-made refractory production. Ensuring every product that leaves our facility is built to the highest standards of quality and performance.
At a time when many manufacturers rely on overseas supply chains. Our ability to produce 100% UK-made refractories has proven invaluable. It means we can maintain tighter quality control, faster lead times, and a direct line of collaboration with our customers. This focus on domestic manufacturing has not only supported our customers but also strengthened the wider UK industrial supply chain. Helping to reduce carbon footprint through shorter transport distances and local sourcing.

Over the past year, Vulcan has further extended its presence across key markets. These include energy from waste, power generation, technical ceramics, and metal processing.
Our Vulcasil product range continues to deliver trusted performance in some of the harshest industrial environments, while our custom refractory solutions have helped customers improve operational efficiency and equipment longevity.

Our people continue to drive Vulcan’s success, from celebrating long-service anniversaries to welcoming new team members into our production and technical departments. One highlight was celebrating Stuart Handley’s 30th year at Vulcan, a remarkable milestone that reflects both loyalty and expertise.
