Vulcan Refractories Supporting Local Sports Teams

At Vulcan Refractories, we’re proud to support the local community and the organisations that bring people together.

As part of this commitment, we’re pleased to sponsor local sports teams. Helping to provide opportunities for young people to get involved, develop their skills and enjoy being part of a team.

Our current sponsorships include Cheadle SMU Under 14s and Oakamoor Cricket Club Under 17s.

Supporting Grassroots Sport in Our Local Community

Local sports clubs play an important role in communities, particularly when it comes to encouraging young people to get active and participate in team sport.

Behind every team are coaches, volunteers, families and supporters who give their time to make it all possible. Sponsorship from local businesses can provide additional support and help clubs continue creating opportunities for their players.

We’re delighted to play our part by supporting Cheadle SMU Under 14s. We help young footballers continue to enjoy and develop in the game.

We’re equally proud to support Oakamoor Cricket Club Under 17s. Contributing to the development of young cricketers within our local community.

Proud to Support Local Teams

As a Staffordshire manufacturer, maintaining strong relationships with the community around us is important to Vulcan.

Supporting local sport is one of the ways we can give something back, while also recognising the teamwork, commitment and dedication that go into keeping local clubs thriving.

We’re proud to support both teams and wish all the players, coaches and volunteers at Cheadle SMU Under 14s and Oakamoor Cricket Club Under 17s every success in the season ahead.
