Products

High purity fused mullite & high alumina refractories for kiln refractories.

Sandwich (mullite coated silicon carbide) tiles for ferrite manufacture.

Vulcan also manufactures linings for the furnaces and kilns used to manufacture electrical ceramics.

Characteristics/Features

Application dependent; very high purity and low free silica contents, ability to withstand temperatures up to 1750°C, excellent high temperature creep resistance, good strength, tight tolerances, flexible shape capabilities, good surface finish.
