Location: Brookhouses Industrial Estate, Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST10 1PN
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Vulcan Refractories, part of the Zampell Group of Companies, is looking to recruit an ambitious and motivated HSE Coordinator to join our team in Cheadle.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate IOSH-qualified safety professional who is looking to develop their career within a well-established UK manufacturing business. About the Role
As HSE Coordinator, you will support the ongoing development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental initiatives across the business.
Working closely with colleagues throughout the organisation, you will help maintain high standards of compliance, promote safe working practices, and contribute to continuous improvement activities that support both our people and our operations.
This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment. While building a long-term career in health, safety, and environmental management.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Graduate IOSH qualified
- Motivated and eager to develop their career
- Practical and hands-on in their approach
- Confident communicating with people at all levels
- Passionate about health, safety, and environmental management
- Committed to continuous improvement and learning
- Looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing
Previous manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
