Products

Silicon carbide with nitride or oxide bonds, together with a range of cements. Furnace lining bricks, burners, tap-hole blocks, launder systems, pouring sprouts and bespoke shapes produced to customer specific requirements. Vulcan can also offer full furnace lining packages, including all back up lining materials.

Characteristics/Features

Resistance to severe impact and abrasion, withstands molten metal contact and resists both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres at temperatures up to 1250°C.
